How to become a relatively seasoned piano player?

I don't know how most people would define a "seasoned" piano player but I think that would take about 15 years or more of playing. To become an above average player, it has to be more than just something you do; it has to be part of what you are. Without a strong desire, you may never become much better than you are now. I can't tell you how to change your attitude.
